Anyone see Alice In Chains or are seeing em on their tour?

We saw em last night at Irving plaza! WoW, they were AWESOME, New guy has got it down too! they played old and new and old!!

They just played Boston. i didn't go but the drummer in my band did and he said they were pretty incredible. Waiting for that new album.

There is an Alice In Chains in the studio biography coming out at the same time as the new album and my band, God The Robot, is one of 12 bands picked to be on a compilation cd of bands influenced by Alice In Chains in one way or another that is being sold with every copy of the book. Im gonna be very honest, Im very skeptical about this dude, im sorry but no one on Earth has a voice like Layne Staley. dont get me wrong the guy doesnt have a bad voice but when i seen him do a "soul" version of Rooster, i was kinda turned off to giving him a chance.. I heard the single.. its good, But i dont think its AIC without Layne, and im not being close minded, but it would be like Ours without Jimmy..

I stand by every word you say. very good points and the "soul" i did notice! it was still a hell of a show and impressed me tons but you got it right, not closed minded one bit.
