Flower girl has inspired me about this topic.
I have not written anything in a little while, but i did have a poem written for my by a friend that i wanted to share:
Dandelion
Such a beautiful transition,
Soft blond yellow to a creamy white
A child of the glowing sun, she is,
But just as beautiful at night
And as colorful in spirit
As she is in my sight
My dear, sweet Dandelion
Resilient and rooted,
She is driven to succeed
Some refuse to see her beauty
And call her a weed
But the carrying winds know her graces
Love, creativity, and strength; the seed
Gifts from my lovely Dandelion
Her nourishing will overflows
And spills into afternoon tea or wine
Sweeter than jam and purifying
So warm, loving and kind
She takes care of me because she can,
So blessed am I that she is mine
My soulful, wonderful Dandelion
I could stare upon her beauty
‘Till my dust, too, joined the wind
Blowing kisses, wishes on her whiteness
Dropping tears on her soft skin
My yard, my heart, is wholly hers
And her I will always defend
The most beautiful of blooms, my Dandelion
For my love, my Dandelion, For Tiffany
