Hey all, I supposed I ought to introduce myself first of all. I'm John (obviously), I've been listening to Ours/Jimmy for a few months now and recently found out about KilltheBand. I was amazed by all the data on the site, though admittedly the lack of recent updates and downloads was a bit of a disappointment. I was thrilled to see that the forums are still fairly active though, and many of you are wonderfully devoted fans from what I can see.
Having said that, I was looking through older topics in this section of the forums and one of the threads I found had a dead link for a show that piqued my interest: the Nov. 10, 2006 show at Cool Beans.
If anyone has it and could upload, I'd appreciate it a lot. Thanks, can't wait to get to know you all!

Always great to meet a new fan. Here's a "welcome to the board" present, John:

I love this concert because I believe it contains the only live recording of "Vincent," and Jimmy's cover of it is beautiful. It's clear that he was in the early stages of perfecting the song, and I wonder why he never pursued it.
Also, this concert has one of April's beautiful, haunting, Gothic songs. I swear, if Poe's stories were ever made into films, April could write the soundtrack.

Welcome John! Nice to have you join us! Hope you enjoy yourself here!
The Cool Beans recording is pretty great. I love Jimmy's version of Vincent - its weird, I'm so used to hearing others sing it, and Jimmy's voice isn't that polished, but I think that's why I love it so much.

Thanks a lot Trathena!
Yeah when I saw that setlist I was intrigued. Now that you two have given it the seal of approval, I'm even more eager to listen to it.

I actually just got this not too long ago. Hayley (our fearless and fabulous mod here) sent it to me when I had told her I hadn't heard....um. Whore I think it was. That's when I discovered Vincent and now I love it. I'd love to hear him sing that again sometime.
Enjoy!

Does anyone know if a bootleg exists of the MHZ set? Preferably audio only, but I'll gladly take anything anyone has to offer! I've been looking for a while now but I can't seem to find any downloads . . . at least no active ones.
