Are there any fans around here of Owsley? If not, having finally got to hear some of Owsley's (Will Owsley) music today, it really is unfortunate for myself in a lot of ways because he committed suicide over the weekend.
the Self-titled debut album "Owsley" I guess I'd compare to Jellyfish and maybe moreso at times recent Silverchair, The Wildhearts and Ornament & Crime-era selF.
Sucks he's gone, but for those power-pop fans around here especially, if you haven't heard Owsley, it would probably be worth your while.
