To those from Portland, OR
#1
Hey,

My girlfriend and I are planning on moving to Portland next year from Michigan and we are visiting in September so we can see the city before we move there. I came here because I know Ours fans are the best and nicest people. We want to know about the great parts of the city that tourist wont know about and the best things to do in the city. Perhaps we can meet up. It's always great to meet Ours fans. Thanks for the help.

hey welcome to oregon, pete! i moved out here in 1997 from massachusetts and love it! briefly:
1. it is pronounced "orygun" out here.
2. everything you need to know about where to eat, drink, and play in portland that is trendy, spendy, cool, and/or controversial is in the willamette week: http://www.wweek.com/
3. the i-5 corridor does not define the state- be sure to check out
the massive natural scene out here, from awesome coast to crater lake.
