ok, so i know some peeps take offense to the "self-promotion" angle, which is why i'm promoting someone else lol
Those of you who have gone to the OURS/PJA shows should know about AutoVaughn already, PJA wears their shirts all the time, turns out AV is an awesome band and are really great guys too and are now friendly acquaintances of mine. ANYWAY...they are in a contest for Fender to win a SHIT TON of stuff, new truck, trailer, gear, amps, and $15,000.
They've already made it to the TOP 10 out of hundreds on their own and if/when they make it to the top 5 it's out of our hands anyway.
The thing is this, they need your help, not only do they DESPERATELY need a new vehicle, but they only have one set of everything (instruments and amps) and tour constantly so winning this contest would enable them to do so much more....
Plus, the other bands in the top ten SUCK so hard, but are edging them out on this "buzz factor" bullshit, which is powered by votes.
