i recorded that mystery from on the rox!
man, i fell in love with jimmy all over again when i heard this song. personally, i'm really excited to have mystery and gravity on one album. this might be the pop album that us acoustic gnecco fans have been waiting for.
EDIT: or maybe there was another on the rox since then? i'll listen to that one and see if i hear the ice & glass noise.

Yeah I have two versions of Mystery from On the Rox (2/7/10 and 9/29/08). Not sure which one this is cuz I didn't make a note of the date when I uploaded it, and they're both listed as track #4 in my iTunes library. The Jammin Java is probably my favorite, but the On the Rox '08 is the one that got me into the song, and now it's one of my favorite songs in Jimmy's repertoire.
Damn Skippy the Jammin Java is better, that's cause Mix Masta T cut that track!

I am SO excited that Mystery & Gravity are going to be on the album.
Mystery I loved the very first time I hear it, and no matter how hot the venue is, no matter where I am - I get instant chills within 30 seconds of him singing that.
There was an OTR in Feb this year and then the one from Sept 08 is where I believe he debuted it. But I love the ones from Maxwells and Jammin Java too.
