Presenting Xasis - my acoustic rock project.

here's some lyrics:

Shorelines & Their Erosion

Though still the waters are,
The shoreline seems so very far
So many remnants of fallen stars
Sear into my skin like scars

Twist away from the light
Crave the darkness in my eyes
Feel the burden of my heart
Burn you like a wall of fire
Pull away from all you know
Envelop all that pains you so
Feel the passion in my soul
Crush your dreams and take control

Atop the many diverted streams,
As sunlight dims and moonlight gleams,
So many remnants of wasted dreams
Tear my life apart at the seams

Twist towards the pain
Crave the urge to feel again

Share The Dark

I can't understand
Why we must be alone
Nobody's waiting at your door
No one's on the phone

And yet, we stay locked in
We're afraid of what's outside
Share my dark, share my sin
Share what little sun does shine

Won't you...
...Share the dark with me?

wow....i really like this alot. rhyme can be difficult to achieve without crossing into triteness, and this is such a clean verse. thank you for sharing.

I use to be able to write really dark things, that somehow, came out with beauty.
Such words just really flowed from me so easily, til there were page after page, after page of dark  heart breaking beautiful words from a broken woman.
I loved being able to reach out to people with  those words.
But, alas, those words are gone.
Its ok with me at the moment, but maybe they will visit me again in the future.
Right now, i am thankful they have left me .
