Just to mention..esp to all the fans out there..today is the day he died..drowning in the Wolf River in 1997. I'm gonna play my stuff by him today in tribute/memorial..
I dunno if Jimmy remember the date..but I'm sure he remembers things about the day he found out.

I wore my Jeff Buckley shirt today, but I wasn't aware that it was the 9th anniversary of his death until later on when my sister told me.
To just think of how wonderful the music he made, it's just so beautiful that you can only imagine what that man was capable of, all the masterpieces that he was yet to create. RIP

I'm not one for the dead rock star thing - it gets on my nerves, especially the people who moon over Cobain. However, in Jeff's case he's probably the single biggest loss to music in the past 30 years as judging from the potential of Sketches, I strongly believe his best work was ahead of him.
It doesn't feel like 9 years, does it?

wow 9 years, it seeems like it was only yeterday, I will go home tonight play Grace and drink a bottle of wine in his memory.

damn, nine years seems like forever ago.
i have been listening to his batshit crazy version of alligator wine all week. i wonder who he'd be working with if he was still around...
